The GOAT Page is a free Queensland criminal-legislation tool our principal, Andrew George, built for working criminal lawyers, billed by its users as “the most useful page on the internet for criminal lawyers in Queensland.” Type any offence and it returns the charge’s maximum penalty, whether it can be dealt with summarily or on indictment, and its committal pathway: the details that shape every criminal matter from the first court date.
Hundreds of Queensland practitioners (defence lawyers, firms and prosecutors) use it week in, week out, and share it around their offices. It is now part of Acquit, the practice platform for Queensland criminal lawyers, and it remains free.
