Create a cherished keepsake with this counted cross stitch sampler featuring a famous bunny Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter! Peter is depicted in four scenes throughout his very eventful day: with his mom Mrs. Rabbit ordering him to not get into mischief and not go into Mr. McGregor's garden where his father had an 'accident'; munching on some tasty carrots later than afternoon in Mr. McGregor's garden where he was told not to go; jumping through some flower pots while trying to escape when Mr. McGregor is trying to chase him out of his garden; and finally with his mom tending to him in bed while recovering from the dreadful experience at the end of that day. These four scenes that follow his famous tale are framed with an outline featuring images of scrolled vines, carrots, pots, onions intertwined with numbers of the clock 1 through 12 signifying the hours of the day. 

This rare vintage cross stitch pattern was produced in limited quantities in 1995 and was acquired by us directly from the UK. We are brining you this pattern as a rare opportunity to create a timeless family heirloom that can be passed from generation to generation as a precious keepsake displayed in a child's room, playroom or as a gift to an enthusiast of Beatrix Potter art.

• Kit Contents: 14-count white cotton Aida fabric 22" x 21.5", 6-stranded cotton floss - total of 28 colors (combination of Anchor floss, and Anchor equivalents in DMC floss, 18 and 10 respectively), graph pages including closeups of the scenes and borders, full instructions in several languages, blunt point needle size 24 for stitching on a 14-CT fabric.

• Please note that this is a larger size design requiring a bigger cloth and almost double the amount of floss than in standard size patterns which is reflected in price.
