Malachite belongs to a family of copper carbonate hydroxide minerals.  Malachite is famous because it was one of the first minerals used by humankind to produce the widely known metal copper.  Malachite is known for its many hues of green, which give it a very unique appearance.

For many years, Malachite has been and remains a commonly used semi-precious gemstone.  It is also a popular material for sculpting and etching.  This gem is also globally revered for its use in creating bracelets, rings, necklaces, and even headdresses.

Measurements are approximately: 1.25 inches tall, 1.75 inches wide, & 2.50 inches long.
