The Lutron RA2 Select Main Repeater Hub is the device that allows you to control all of the other RA2 Select devices in your home and/or garage via the Lutron App. It will communicate to the RA2 Select switches, PowPaks, Picos, etc, to dim lights, turn on or off switches, enable scenes, and more.
The Main Repeater needs to be connected to your home network via an ethernet connection, so keep that in mind when setting your Lutron system up. Once the Main Repeater is in place, it will wirelessly connect to the other devices in the home/garage. You will likely need to use the Wireless Repeater Extender to make sure your entire space has the coverage it needs. This hub allows you to connect up to 100 items in total.
